Luxurious ryokan, easy to reach, private onsen on balcony, delicious multi-course dinner, professional and kind staff, beautiful facilities.

The luxurious amenities at this hotel exceeded all my expectations. My room had exclusive facilities such as a private outdoor bath and comfortable futon with a choice of different pillows. the public hot spring baths were well-equipped and included a beautiful outdoor bath. the delicious breakfast and beautiful presentation left me satisfied.
The staff was a little too upselling at dinner, however, this was only a minor issue. the exceptional service, massage, and public garden area made up for this.

Located a short walk from the train station, this Japanese-style hotel offers comfortable rooms with stunning views of the river and surrounding mountains. The in-room dining service was exceptional, and the food was presented beautifully and of high quality. The private and public baths were a highlight of the stay and offered a very relaxing experience.
The hotel is a bit expensive for what it offers. Some guests may find the location a bit distant from the attractions in the area.

I had an incredible stay at a hotel in Nikko. The hotel facilities were amazing, including a beautiful onsen and outdoor baths. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, always going above and beyond to fulfill any request. The location on the Kinugawa river provided stunning views, and the breakfast was delicious with beautiful presentation.

The room view was amazing! You can look out to a river and green mountains. The meals were exquisite. They had beautiful presentation and a perfect variety. one of the best things was the private Onsen bath in the room, which was a unique and enjoyable experience.
The price was higher than expected. , the staff was occasionally overly focused on upselling rather than focusing on ensuring we were comfortable.

the staff were polite and attentive with great attention to detail, making our stay special from the start. the traditional room was well-appointed and clean. the multi-course dinner was exquisite and complemented by the wide selection of drinks on the menu.
The hotel was overpriced, given that it lacked basic amenities such as a coffee maker in the room.
